Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for Week 5 of the 2025-26 season. This marks his second such honor this year, following a 4-0 week for the Thunder.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning Finals MVP, continues to excel in the 2025-26 season. On Monday, November 24, 2025, he was announced as the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from November 17 to 23.
The Thunder went 4-0 during that span, defeating the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz. Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31 points per game and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 60% from the field across those contests.
This is Gilgeous-Alexander's second Player of the Week award this season. He previously shared the honor in Week 2 with Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey.
In the Eastern Conference, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell received the award for the same week.
