Sister describes cradling dying sibling after las vegas mugging

An 78-year-old woman in Nevada has recounted holding her 75-year-old sister as she died after a mugger opened fire during their morning walk in Las Vegas.

Iredell Washington told Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS that she and her sister Hester Johnson were on their routine stroll near South El Capitan Way and West Flamingo Road on May 12 when 24-year-old Devion Teague approached them demanding their belongings. Johnson hesitated and Teague shot her, according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department press release. Washington cradled her sister, pleading, 'Don’t leave me, don’t leave me here.'
