Sonia Mena will star opposite Chase Yi in the next Paranormal Activity film. The project is directed by Ian Tuason and backed by Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Paramount.
Mena, known for her role in the Hulu series Tell Me Lies, joins the found-footage horror franchise in a yet-to-be-detailed part. Plot specifics for the installment remain undisclosed.
The film is scheduled for release on May 21, 2027. Paramount and Blumhouse Atomic Monster will finance and produce it jointly, with Paramount managing worldwide distribution.
Oren Peli will produce through Solana Films. James Wan and Jason Blum are producing for Blumhouse Atomic Monster, while Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Alayna Glasthal handle executive production duties. Additional executive producers include Steven Schneider, Dan Slater, and Cody Calahan.
