Swedish e-commerce sets turnover record in 2025

Swedish e-commerce reached a new peak in 2025 as trade in used goods continues to grow.

Swedish e-traders recorded a total turnover of 153 billion kronor in 2025. This surpasses the previous record from 2021 which stood at 146 billion kronor. E-commerce now accounts for about 15 percent of retail sales for physical products. The used goods market has grown strongly and three second-hand actors rank among consumers' ten favorite sites. Kajsa Steude from Falun says she values second hand both for environmental reasons and the fun of finding sought-after items.
