Tughlakabad fire death toll rises to four

The death toll from a fire in a Southeast Delhi residential building has reached four after a woman died from her injuries.

The fire broke out in Tughlakabad on the night of June 12 and 13. It spread after a scooter parked on the ground floor was set ablaze. Police determined the incident was deliberate.

The victims include Guddi, aged 50, her son Pankaj, 28, daughter Soni, 20, and mother Sushila, 70. A family member named Moni remains in critical condition. Guddi died at a hospital on Monday evening.

Police have arrested four suspects, including a minor girl seen in CCTV footage. Relatives have called for murder charges. They said the family had no known disputes and had moved to the flat two years earlier.
