TV-pucken will feature a condensed schedule this year with qualification and finals held within one week during the autumn break. The changes also remove SIF teams and align girls' and boys' qualification rounds.
The tournament will run its qualification rounds from October 24 to 26 at four venues. The top eight teams from both the boys' and girls' sides will then compete in Örnsköldsvik starting October 29.
Previously, qualification took place in mid-September with finals held months later. This year's setup completes the entire event during the autumn school break.
SIF teams, which previously served as collection squads for players not selected to district teams, will no longer participate. Preparations are already underway, including lists of potential players from districts such as Dalarna and Medelpad.
