Two men were assaulted in central Falun during the night to Sunday amid the Åfesten city festival. Police received reports of two assaults at 23:50 and 00:28.
An unknown perpetrator struck a man in his 40s in the middle of the festival. Police accompanied the man to hospital for treatment. Shortly afterwards a man in his mid-40s is suspected of hitting a teenager in the upper teens with an open hand to the face. The extent of injuries for the second victim remains unclear. Gabriel Henning, police spokesperson, confirmed that officers accompanied the first victim to hospital.
