Men nominees are THW Kiel youngster Rasmus Ankermann, sailor Ole Schweckendiek (Kiel), rower Miklas Scheer (Kiel), para-judo athlete Lennart Sass (Rendsburg), and boxer Freddy Kiwirr (Flensburg). Team contenders are THW Kiel, SG Flensburg-Handewitt, badminton vice-champions Blau-Weiß Wittorf, sailing duo Kjell Haschen/Iven Fromm (Lübeck/Kiel), and TSB Flensburg's Fördenixen synchronized swimmers. The award ceremony takes place on April 13 from 6 pm in Neumünster's Holstenhallen.
