STF faces prosecution after Kebnekaise deaths
The Swedish Work Environment Authority has decided to file a prosecution notice against the Swedish Tourist Association following the fatal accident on Kebnekaise in April. Two employees fell 100 meters while retrieving ropes after the ski alpinism competition Kebnekaise Classic.
27-year-old Navarran hiker dies on Pico de las Neveras
A 27-year-old hiker from Navarra has died on Pico de las Neveras in Panticosa, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, after falling during an excursion. The Guardia Civil recovered her body on Sunday, along with one of her two dogs, which also died. The second dog was not located.
