Spanish companies adjust schedules for World Cup final between Spain and Argentina

Several companies in Spain are modifying Monday work shifts so employees can watch Sunday's final.

Solar panel company Alusin Solar, based in Avilés, has told its 54 workers they will start two and a half hours later on Monday, July 18. The email states these hours are neither recovered nor deducted.

Director general Javier Fernández-Font said employees will be able to watch the match calmly. Some asked twice to confirm the change.

Other firms including Inditex stores such as Zara will close one hour earlier on Sunday. Apple, IKEA, El Corte Inglés and others will also advance closures by 30 minutes to one hour in some locations.
