PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk held the BNI Market Outlook 2026 forum in Jakarta to discuss financial market prospects and bolster cybersecurity amid digital transformation. The event, themed 'Wonderful Breakthrough & Cybersecurity', was attended by representatives from BEI, KSEI, and 14 securities companies that are BNI customers. It served as a dialogue platform for regulators, banks, and industry players to align strategies against market dynamics and cyber risks.

Attended by representatives from Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) such as Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) and Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), as well as management from 14 Securities Companies (PEs) that are BNI customers, the forum served as a dialogue platform to align strategies against market dynamics and cyber risks.
BNI's Director of Treasury & International Banking, Abu Santosa Sudradjat, stated, “We hope this series of discussions provides valuable insights, broadens perspectives, and further strengthens synergy between regulators, banking, and capital market industry players.” The statement was issued in a written release on Tuesday (10/2/2026).
The main agenda included a panel discussion on cybersecurity and regulatory updates, featuring BEI's Director of Trading and Member Regulation Irvan Susandy, KSEI's Director of Infrastructure Development and Information Management Dharma Setyadi, and BNI's Director of Information & Technology Toto Prasetio.
BEI and KSEI presented policy developments and enhancements in cyber security governance, including increased Cyber & IT awareness for technology providers in the capital market industry. These efforts are deemed crucial to maintain system reliability as cyber attack risks rise.
BNI affirmed its digital infrastructure readiness through BNI API Digital Services, providing technology solutions for the capital market ecosystem. BNI also acts as the Bank Partner for Customer Fund Accounts (RDN) for Securities Companies, with a secure, integrated, and adaptive system.
Additionally, BNI offered education on cyber threats and mitigation strategies to enhance system resilience in the digital era. Through the event, BNI committed to strengthening collaboration with stakeholders and delivering adaptive digital banking innovations to address transformation challenges and evolving cyber security dynamics.
