Joaquín Parra testified Wednesday before judge Santiago Pedraz that he held several meetings in 2024 with Leire Díez in a PSOE safe house in Madrid.
The businessman, convicted of hydrocarbon fraud, detailed that Díez sought information to discredit judge Beatriz Biedma in the case of the government president's brother.
Parra stated that Díez told him literally that "there is a need to clean up" after suffering similar injustices. He also mentioned contacts with lawyer Jacobo Teijelo and a former judge to try to remove Biedma.
The witness recorded the meetings and offered to put Díez in contact with the mayor of Dos Hermanas on behalf of Santos Cerdán. The Anticorruption prosecutor requested the recordings.
