The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) announced its indoor track and field weekly awards on February 17, 2026, highlighting performances from the previous weekend's competitions.
In the women's category, Towson junior Baara Stewart was named Track Athlete of the Week. Stewart, a sprinter from Olney, Maryland, reset her own program record in the 800m with a time of 2:09.47, finishing second at the Darius Dixon Memorial. She also contributed to a distance-medley relay team that improved the program record by 11 seconds to 11:48.91. This season, Stewart has set five school records.
Elon junior Adriana Clarke earned Field Athlete of the Week honors. Clarke, a throws specialist from Yulee, Florida, set a program record in the weight throw with a mark of 19.61m (64’ 4”), surpassing the previous record by 0.41m and placing second at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational. Her throw leads the CAA this season and ranks 56th nationally.
For the men, Stony Brook freshman Jamal Joseph was selected as Track Athlete of the Week. The sprinter from Bridgeport, Connecticut, won the 200m at the Giegengack Invitational with a time of 22.54. He also placed third in the 400m, achieving a personal-best of 50.41.
Stony Brook freshman T’Vario Willis received the Field Athlete of the Week award. Willis won the high jump at the 19th annual Giegengack Invitational with a leap of 1.95m (6’ 4.75”), edging out the field by 0.1m. This performance ranks among the top 15 in the conference this season.
