The Elon Phoenix women's track and field team secured the 2026 CAA Indoor Track & Field Championship with a total of 135 points, finishing ahead of Hampton (121.5), NC A&T (93), Towson (92), and Northeastern (88). Other teams included William & Mary (43), Monmouth (31.5), Stony Brook (31), College of Charleston (29), UNCW (24), Campbell (6), and Hofstra (5). This victory represents Elon's first CAA women's indoor title since 2023, according to the Coastal Athletic Association.
The event took place on February 22, 2026, at The TRACK at New Balance. Standout individual results for Elon included Abby Beville winning the mile in 4:46.96, with Julia Bell second at 4:47.38, Sarah Petitjean fourth at 4:49.68, and Quinn Smith sixth at 4:54.60. In the weight throw, Adriana Clarke took first place with 20.04 meters, followed by Isabella Johnson in second at 19.44 meters.
Lizzie Lopez placed second in the pentathlon with 3,666 points, while Greta Urbonaviciute was fourth at 3,503. Other notable finishes were Jenna Gilman second in the 800 meters (2:08.35), Katie Blount second in both the 3000 meters (9:33.02) and 5000 meters (16:53.97), and Mia Stimpson fifth in the triple jump (12.02 meters).
Relay teams performed strongly as well: the 4x800 squad of Julia Bell, Quinn Smith, Jenna Gilman, and Abby Beville finished third in 9:01.19, the distance medley relay (Alicen Ashley, Mary Sollars, Grace Lavelle, Sarah Petitjean) third in 11:48.06, and the 4x400 (Amelie Meier, Grace Lavelle, Jenna Gilman, Duna Viñals) fifth in 3:51.07.
Elon's depth across events contributed to the championship win, with contributions from athletes including Ja'Mia Johnson (fourth in 60 hurdles, 8.65), Mya Lee (fourth in 60 meters, 7.50), and Hannah Schonhoff (sixth in high jump, 1.65 meters).
