Indie developer Cygnus Cross has dropped a new trailer for its pixel art action-adventure RPG Emberville, building on the January announcement. It showcases more gameplay footage and reveals additional voice talent, including Abubakar Salim alongside previously announced Alex Jordan and Doug Cockle. Summer 2026 remains the target release window.
Following the official reveal trailer in January, Cygnus Cross shared this latest video for Emberville on March 9, 2026. The footage dives deeper into core mechanics like fast-paced combat with weapons, skills, and class progression via weapon/armor leveling. Players can rescue NPCs to learn trades, rebuild the town, and engage in farming, gathering, crafting, and estate customization in a procedurally generated world.
The trailer expands on the voice cast, adding Abubakar Salim to Alex Jordan (voice director, known for Cyberpunk 2077) and Doug Cockle (The Witcher, Baldur’s Gate 3). This continues the game's ambitious blend of action-RPG dungeon crawling, town rebuilding, and life sim elements in the prison-town of Vitromotus/Emberville.
