The Honey Harvest event at the Farm at the Arb in Eden Prairie offers a family-friendly opportunity to engage with local agriculture and pollinators. Scheduled as a drop-in session from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, participants can explore harvesting techniques for honey and cut flowers.
Attendees have the chance to create their own farm bouquets directly in the field. In the Myers Education Center kitchen, visitors can sample fresh honey. The event includes interactive spots such as the “Wings of an Angel” monarch cutout for selfies and “Queen Bee Crowns on the Bee Lawn.”
Additional highlights include the Luce Line Brewing Beer Garden serving honey beer and an opportunity to meet a beekeeper. Families can also join the “Farm Crawl: Pollinator Quest” scavenger hunt to learn more about pollinators.
