The fifth unit in the Mangusta Oceano 39 series has been launched in Viareggio, Italy, featuring custom interiors by M2Atelier. This three-deck superyacht was sold to an experienced owner and highlights innovative design elements for enhanced sea connection. It follows the fourth unit's launch in June 2025.
In Viareggio, Italy, the fifth Mangusta Oceano 39 superyacht entered the water, marking another addition to the series known for its compact yet spacious design. Sold to a passionate owner described as an experienced figure in yachting, the vessel boasts a contemporary exterior crafted by Italian designer Alberto Mancini. The design includes minimalist lines and glass gunwales on the upper deck, which provide a clean profile and allow natural light to flood the interiors.
As the smallest model in Mangusta's Oceano line, the Oceano 39 delivers 330 gross tonnes of volume with features that emphasize a strong link to the surrounding sea. The owner opted for custom interiors from the Italian studio M2Atelier, though specific details about the layout remain undisclosed. Standout elements of the series include a bow infinity pool with a partially glass bottom, which channels light into the master suite below, and an aft beach club at water level equipped with opening side terraces to expand usable space.
Nicolò Strocco, Mangusta's sales manager who handled the transaction, commented, "With its timeless charm, the Mangusta Oceano 39 can truly be described as a 'miniature megayacht', designed and built with painstaking care and meticulous attention down to the tiniest detail."
Powered by twin 2,600hp MTU engines, the yacht achieves a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. This launch comes shortly after the fourth unit hit the water in June 2025, underscoring the ongoing production of this popular series.
