During his speech, Tilahun stated that second-cycle primary schools are being constructed by enhancing their standards. This effort aims to address the unemployment issues arising in the national education field. The new model schools fulfill basic learning requirements, though additional schools are planned for the future.

To provide equal educational opportunities to all Ethiopians across regions, over 34,000 preschool centers have been established in the past five years. Education serves as the foundation of development, making it essential to deliver quality and accessible learning to children. An Amharic model second-cycle primary school in Keley town, Kore Zone, is set to be inaugurated in the coming days.
