On Sunday, the FBI stated that a glove found in a field near the side of the road, about 3km from the house, was sent for DNA testing. The glove appears to match the pair worn by the suspect in the video. The bureau received preliminary results on Saturday and is awaiting official confirmation.
The discovery comes shortly after the release of the surveillance footage. The case involves the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, drawing attention due to ransom demands and evidence of blood on the porch.
