Shreshta IT signs MoU with National Forensic Sciences University Dharwad

Belagavi-based Shreshta IT Technologies Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Forensic Sciences University in Dharwad to boost cybersecurity education and industry ties. The partnership aims to combine academic and practical expertise for student training. It includes specialized programs and internships.

Shreshta IT Technologies Private Limited, based in Belagavi and focused on cybersecurity and threat intelligence, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Forensic Sciences University campus in Dharwad. This agreement seeks to merge academic strengths with industry knowledge to advance cybersecurity skills and ready students for practical demands.

Swapneel Patnekar, the company's Chief Security Researcher and CEO, highlighted the collaboration's objectives. He stated that it would unite academic excellence and industry expertise toward a shared goal, strengthen cybersecurity capabilities, and prepare students for real-world challenges.

Under the MoU, the partners plan to develop specialized training programs offering hands-on experience in digital forensics and threat intelligence. They will provide internships for students, undertake capacity-building efforts, and engage in knowledge sharing and joint initiatives. Patnekar noted that this arrangement would benefit both institutions by fostering educational and professional growth in the field.
