On February 7, 2026, Vaibhav scored 175 runs off 80 balls, including 15 sixes and 15 fours, marking the highest individual score by any batsman in an ICC tournament final. Batting first, India posted a massive 411 for 9, while England collapsed to 311 all out, handing India a 100-run victory.
Throughout the tournament, Vaibhav amassed 439 runs and took 1 wicket, earning him the Player of the Tournament award. He became the first player to win both Player of the Final and Player of the Tournament in the event. Vaibhav also notched the fastest 150 in Under-19 cricket, reaching it in 71 balls.
