Entries open for 30th Superyacht Cup Palma in 2026

Organizers have opened entries for the 30th edition of the Superyacht Cup Palma, set to take place from June 24 to 27, 2026, at the Club de Mar-Mallorca. To mark the milestone, the event introduces a new performance multihull class alongside its traditional superyacht divisions. Several returning and debut yachts are expected to compete.

The Superyacht Cup Palma, a prominent regatta in the superyacht racing calendar, will reach its 30th edition next year. Hosted at the Club de Mar-Mallorca in Palma, the event runs from June 24 to 27, 2026. This anniversary edition introduces a performance multihull class, joining established categories such as J Class, Café Racer, and Corinthian Spirit divisions, reflecting the regatta's evolution in line with broader trends in superyacht racing. The Real Club Náutico de Palma will oversee the on-water activities, with sponsorship from Marinepool, North Sails, RSB Rigging Solutions, and Pantaenius. In the previous edition, the 24-meter Wally yacht Rose secured its third consecutive overall victory, a historic achievement. Anticipated participants for 2026 include the Baltic 108 Win Win, a past winner, and the 35-meter Southern Wind yacht Gelliceaux, which took Class A honors last year. The 39-meter Tripp-designed Cervo, runner-up in Class A for 2025, plans to return, as do J Class yachts Rainbow and Svea, along with Baltic 68 Café Racers Ganesha and Scorpione Hormar. New entrants to the Palma regatta comprise the Wally 100 Inco, 28-meter Swan Spiip, Swan 90S Hummingbird (formerly Leonara), and Atalante I, a previous regular at other Superyacht Cup events. For the inaugural multihull class, Highland Fling 18 and the 25.6-meter Allegra are slated to debut. Event director Kate Branagh highlighted the regatta's enduring appeal: “Superyacht Cup Palma has a long and remarkable history, and a key part of its success has been its ability to welcome both loyal returning yachts and new competitors, drawn by Palma’s unique setting and consistently professional race management. At the same time, the regatta has evolved alongside the superyacht racing world – a balance that continues to attract new entries year after year.” This mix of veterans and newcomers underscores the event's competitive edge.
