Scottish singer-songwriter Kyle Falconer has released his new single 'I’m Lost (You’re Dead)', featuring Jamie Webster, as a preview to his upcoming album Love Night of Terror. The track follows his recent collaboration with Pete Doherty on 'Midas Touch' and precedes a UK tour starting this week. The album, due out on March 27, includes several notable guest artists.
Kyle Falconer, frontman of The View, released his new single 'I’m Lost (You’re Dead)' on February 25, 2026, featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Jamie Webster. The track serves as a preview for his second solo album, Love Night of Terror, scheduled for release on March 27 via Modern Sky and Run On Records.
This single follows 'Midas Touch', which Falconer released earlier in February and which features Pete Doherty. 'Midas Touch' premiered on BBC Radio 2 with Jo Whiley and received attention from outlets like NME.
Falconer described the new song in a statement: “I showed this song straight away to Jamie Webster who I’m a big fan of, and he said it was right up his street. I feel like we’re both at the top of our range on it and it sounds class. I’m buzzing to perform it live. Sadness sounds sweet!” The collaboration blends elements of uplifting road trip rock, reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen or Sam Fender, with alt-pop energy, exploring themes of reckless hedonism as an escape from a deteriorating relationship.
The album was written, performed, and produced by Falconer and Andy Gannon at Falconer's La Sierra Casa studio in Alicante, Spain. It features additional collaborations with Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, Lottery Winners, and Dave McCabe of The Zutons.
Webster, known for his Top 10 albums including 2024's '10 For The People' which peaked at number two, has built a strong following as a UK singer-songwriter. He is set to play major headline shows this summer at Liverpool’s Blackstone Street Warehouse.
To promote the album, Falconer begins a UK pre-album tour on February 26 in Cardiff at Clwb Ifor Bach. The tour includes dates in Portsmouth, London, Manchester, Sheffield, Preston, York, Liverpool, Carlisle, and two sold-out shows in Glasgow at King Tut's in early April. Additional festival appearances are planned for July in Plymouth and August in Portsmouth.
Pre-orders for Love Night of Terror are available through the label's site.
