A 20-year-old man has been convicted of a humiliating robbery in Limhamn. The Court of Appeal has overturned the District Court's deportation order.
The 20-year-old man lured a resident from Kristianstad to an abandoned schoolyard on Ön in Limhamn. On the evening of January 14 2024 he forced the victim at knifepoint to remove his clothes and hand over valuables.
The District Court sentenced the man to deportation. The Court of Appeal has now changed that decision so deportation is no longer part of the punishment.
The case concerns a so-called förnedringsrån in which the victim was subjected to humiliating treatment.
