The program has a total investment of 3 billion pesos between 2025 and 2028. For 2026 another 600 million pesos are allocated to intervene on 300 additional kilometers across 194 streets in Chalco, Chicoloapan, Chimalhuacán, Ecatepec, Ixtapaluca, Nezahualcóyotl, La Paz, Texcoco, Tlalnepantla and Valle de Chalco.

The works receive support from the Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes. They form part of the Plan Integral para la Zona Oriente del Estado de México that seeks to reduce urban lag and improve security and mobility.
