Ange Postecoglou has been appointed head coach of Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr on a two-year contract. The Australian will work alongside club player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Nassr announced the move in a statement confirming Postecoglou as coach of the first team for two seasons. The club wished him and his staff success in their work with what it called the Global Club.
Postecoglou succeeds Jorge Jesus, who led Al-Nassr to the Saudi Pro League title last season. The appointment ends the 60-year-old's brief time away from management after he worked as a television pundit during the World Cup.
The former Celtic and Tottenham manager brings experience from several clubs. He won five trophies in two seasons at Celtic before spells at Tottenham and a short stint at Nottingham Forest.
