Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a curling free-kick in the ninth minute after Ferran Torres was fouled by Antonio Rudiger. Torres doubled the lead nine minutes later following an assist from Dani Olmo, sending the ball past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Barcelona dominated possession and withstood a late push from Real Madrid to claim the points.
