Big E, who suffered a broken neck in March 2022 during a WWE SmackDown match, said ending his wrestling days was not difficult. He credited a successful run that included becoming NXT Champion, WWE Champion and Money in the Bank winner.
In comments to The A2TheK Wrestling Show, Big E noted that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were released in April after rejecting a pay cut. He said he does not believe they are retired and looks forward to their next steps.
