The Vegas Golden Knights have signed goaltender Carl Lindbom to a three-year contract extension. The deal runs through the 2028-29 season and carries an annual cap hit of 900,000 dollars.
Vegas announced the extension on Monday morning. Lindbom, 23, was set to become a restricted free agent but the club secured the former Djurgården and Färjestad netminder for three additional seasons.
A seventh-round pick by Vegas in the 2021 NHL Draft, Lindbom made his NHL debut on Oct. 26, 2025. He appeared in eight games last season, posting a 2-4-2 record with a 3.00 goals-against average and .873 save percentage.
Most of his season was spent in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights. There he went 24-5-5 in 35 games, ranking second in the league with a 2.16 GAA and .926 save percentage. He was named to the AHL Second All-Star Team for 2025-26.
