Former Brazil national team coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, 83, remains in intensive care at Hospital Samaritano Barra in Rio de Janeiro with pulmonary inflammation.
According to a medical bulletin released by the hospital on Saturday (20), Parreira's pulmonary condition is stable. Sedation is being gradually reduced, but he remains sedated and breathes with the aid of apparatus.
The patient requires intensive care and there is no forecast for discharge. He is accompanied by pulmonologist intensivist Arthur Vianna and the hospital's multidisciplinary team.
