The World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses has introduced further adjustments to the Jumping World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. The updates aim to prioritize horse welfare and age-appropriate competition.
Five- and six-year-old horses will now compete on smaller tracks in both qualifying rounds and finals. Courses for five-year-olds are set at 1.20m in the first two qualifiers and 1.25m in the final rounds. Six-year-olds will jump 1.30m in the first qualifier, with the final remaining at 1.35m.
