Collabora Productivity has released Collabora Online 26.04 to mark the 10-year anniversary of its self-hosted office suite. The update brings optional AI tools and collaboration features to Writer, Calc and Impress.
The new version builds on the earlier CODE 26.04 release from June. Organizations can enable AI assistance that helps draft text in Writer, fix formulas in Calc and create slides in Impress, while keeping data under their own control.
Calc now supports per-user sheet views so multiple people can filter the same spreadsheet independently. Impress adds Follow-Me Slideshows that let viewers track the presenter and review missed slides.
Writer includes an improved document comparison tool that highlights changes with author and timestamp details. The suite also received BITV 2.0 accreditation.
Michael Meeks, CEO of Collabora Productivity, spoke about the release. The company offers paid enterprise support with security updates and maintenance for the self-hosted platform.
