The Superintendencia de Subsidio Familiar extended the total administrative intervention of the Caja de Compensación Familiar del Huila for twelve additional months. The measure aims to mitigate persistent judicial and financial risks despite the patrimonial recovery achieved.
The intervention was initially ordered on July 25, 2022, through Resolution 0469 during the government of Iván Duque. In the last year, between March 2025 and March 2026, the entity recorded a patrimonial increase of 93,054.2 million pesos and reduced its debt to 19.61 percent. However, Comfamiliar faces 21 judicial processes for 237,468 million pesos, equivalent to 45.58 percent of its patrimony. In addition, parafiscal resources amounting to 51,457.9 million pesos remain embargoed, despite being non-attachable by law. The extension, established in Resolution 0375 of 2026 by Superintendent Sandra Viviana Cadena Martínez, runs until May 24, 2027. The entity also reports issues in housing projects with low sales levels.
