The Dallas Cowboys traded All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers a week before the 2025 NFL season. In return, Dallas received two first-round picks and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark. Parsons later signed a four-year, $186 million extension with the Packers that included $120 million fully guaranteed.
The Cowboys used assets from the deal to acquire defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets and select edge rusher Malachi Lawrence with a 2026 first-round pick. They also drafted cornerback Devin Moore and defensive lineman LT Overton later in the draft. As part of the Williams trade, Dallas agreed to send the higher of its two 2027 first-round picks to New York.
