The latest Criteria poll shows President José Antonio Kast's approval at 37 percent, with disapproval falling to 49 percent. The survey was conducted on May 21 with 1,002 cases.
The Criteria survey, released on May 24, shows government approval fell one point from the previous reading. Disapproval dropped from 53 percent to 49 percent, its lowest level in four weeks.
Eighty-four percent of respondents said they followed the May 19 cabinet change that removed ministers Mara Sedini and Trinidad Steinert. Of that group, 72 percent backed the move.
Support for the Reconstruction bill held steady at 36 percent, while 31 percent opposed it. Security remains the top public priority at 30 percent of mentions, and 41 percent expect conditions in that area to worsen.
