Declan Rice is set to return to the England starting lineup for their World Cup round of 32 match against DR Congo after recovering from injury.
England face DR Congo in Atlanta on Wednesday with the Arsenal midfielder expected to be available following a calf problem. Rice missed the 2-0 group stage win over Panama after a knock in the earlier draw with Ghana.
Thomas Tuchel remains optimistic about Rice's fitness but has other selection issues. Reece James is doubtful with a hamstring injury while Jarell Quansah faces a tight recovery from an ankle problem.
England topped Group L with seven points from three matches. Djed Spence or Ezri Konsa could start at right-back if the injured players are unavailable.
