Midfielder Ederson joined the Brazilian national team on Monday and held his first training session under Carlo Ancelotti.
Éderson José dos Santos Lourenço da Silva arrived at the team base in Morristown, New Jersey, after being called up to replace full-back Wesley. He was greeted by Ancelotti and took part in warm-ups and talks with the squad at Columbia Park. The player cut short his vacation in Campo Grande to answer the call. He overcame passport issues and traveled after attending a wedding on Saturday. Bruno Guimarães praised Ederson's versatility. The opening match is scheduled for Saturday against Morocco. Neymar remains absent from training.
