Adassa, who voices Dolores in the film Encanto, recently returned to the recording studio to work on vocals for an unspecified new project. She collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering while reprising her role.
The recording session marks a development outside the theme park for the Encanto franchise. Adassa shared details of the work on Instagram but did not specify its purpose beyond the collaboration with the Imagineering team.
A boat-style ride based on Encanto is scheduled to open in 2027 inside the new Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction is under construction on the former site of DinoLand U.S.A. and will feature an original story set after Antonio receives his gift.
Guests are expected to travel through the Casita and meet members of the Madrigal family. No official confirmation has linked the recent recording session to the ride.
