Twenty-year-old Erik Holm from Örebro has raced this USF 2000 season with defective shock absorbers. New parts are now in place ahead of this weekend’s races at Road America.
Erik Holm switched this year from karting to a formula car in the American USF 2000 series. He has finished outside the top ten in every race so far.
The reason turned out to be completely broken shock absorbers. Holm confirmed: ”Stötdämparna var helt paj”.
New shock absorbers have been fitted ahead of the three races scheduled at Road America this weekend. Marcus Ericsson has meanwhile praised shock-absorber specialist Mikael Angström for his own improved form this year.
