Senator Flávio Bolsonaro confirmed Wednesday that he approached former banker Daniel Vorcaro to finance the film 'Dark Horse,' a biography of Jair Bolsonaro. Vorcaro paid at least R$ 61 million, according to a revelation by Intercept Brasil confirmed by Folha.
Flávio admitted the request in a note and video, stating it was private sponsorship for a private project with no public funds involved. He said he met Vorcaro in December 2024, before suspicions about Banco Master.
Messages and audios released show Flávio chased overdue payments from the banker in September and November 2025. The negotiated amount reached R$ 134 million, but there is no evidence the full sum was paid.
Romeu Zema called the negotiation 'unforgivable'. Eduardo and Carlos Bolsonaro reacted, accusing Zema of making unfounded accusations. Other politicians from right and left called for investigations.
