Former Bolsonaro minister indicted for receiving R$ 550,000 in bribes

The Federal Police indicted Ahmed Mohamad Oliveira, former Social Security minister in Jair Bolsonaro's government, for receiving bribes linked to INSS fraud.

The Federal Police concluded that Ahmed Mohamad Oliveira received R$ 550,000 in bribes through shell companies linked to Cícero Marcelino de Souza. The amounts were transferred in three remittances between October 2022 and February 2023.

Additionally, a cash delivery of R$ 500,000 occurred on August 10, 2022. The sum was handed to employee José Laudenor da Silva, known as Dinho, during a meeting with the operator.

Oliveira used codenames such as Abou Yasser, Yabo, São Paulo and O Ministro in the organization's communications. The PF states that he ensured INSS inaction on the frauds and released R$ 15.3 million without the required documentation.

Oliveira obtained voluntary retirement in October 2025. He was a career civil servant earning R$ 11,705.84.
