Globe Telecom and PLDT released their first-quarter 2026 financial reports, highlighting data center expansions and rising demand for digital services in the Philippines.
Globe said its data center joint venture with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres and Ayala Corporation is on track to exceed 30 megawatts of total capacity within the year. The company reported that STT Fairview 1 has completed its structure and Level 1 data halls, while STT Cavite 2 Phase 1 has reached ready-for-service status with active customer deployments.
