Hailey Bieber has created a limited-edition jeans collection for Gap called the Hailey Jean. The capsule reimagines the brand’s relaxed denim styles and will launch on July 16.
The collection includes two fits: the Extra Baggy and the Low-Rise Loose. Both styles are priced at $89 and come in three custom washes. They draw from Bieber’s preference for tailored, minimalist clothing and the 1990s aesthetic.
Bieber said she was closely involved throughout the process. “I got super involved,” she said. “From the shoot and video to the storytelling and designing, I’m not at the point in my life where I want to just lend my name to something, if it’s going to be a real collaboration.”
The rigid 100% cotton jeans feature a subtle “1996” detail and her autograph inside the pocket lining. A campaign film directed by Charlie Di Placido uses the Cranberries song “Linger” to evoke the decade.
Bieber’s favorite styling options include pairing the jeans with heels and a vintage top or a white tank and black flip-flops. The items will be available to shop on July 16.
