Housing Minister Randa El-Menshawy reviewed the latest developments on the draft law to establish the Federation of Real Estate Developers.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority. It focused on the proposed legal framework for a professional regulatory body for real estate developers in Egypt.
El-Menshawy emphasized that the draft law responds to significant growth in the real estate sector, a key pillar of the national economy. Discussions covered provisions to unify rules and protect homebuyers.
She also directed officials to continue work on a separate law governing real estate marketing activities. The minister stressed credibility and transparency to build trust and attract investment.
