The Hyderabad Traffic Police have implemented traffic diversions at Nalgonda X Roads and Owaisi Junction starting July 18. The measures will continue until July 21 to facilitate construction of an elevated corridor. Commuters are advised to plan alternative routes due to expected congestion.
The diversions support construction of the Comprehensive Development Elevated Corridor between Saidabad Junction and Yadagiri Theatre. One side of the road between Saidabad Y Junction and Yadagiri Theatre remains closed during this period.
Vehicles traveling from Nalgonda X Roads toward Chandrayangutta face diversion at Saidabad Y Junction. The route passes through the DCP East Zone office, Saidabad Law and Order Police Station, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman, Sankeswar Bazar, Indian Petrol Bunk, Singareni Colony, Onus Robotic Hospital, Champapet Main Road and Laxma Reddy Garden before reaching the DMRL Rotary.
Return traffic from Chandrayangutta toward Nalgonda X Roads diverts at DMRL Junction via Laxma Reddy Garden, Champapet, IS Sadan, Singareni, Sankeswar Bazar, the 105 Bus Stop, Saidabad Law and Order Police Station, Saidabad Y Junction, Chanchalguda and Malakpet Fire Station. District RTC buses and heavy vehicles from MGBS and Chaderghat route via Nalgonda X Roads, Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet and LB Nagar Chowrasta.
Two-wheelers and three-wheelers may use Yadagiri Theatre Road and internal by-lanes. The police warned of heavy congestion on adjoining roads and junctions.
