PT Jasa Marga recorded a record Lebaran 2026 mudik traffic peak of 270,315 vehicles on March 18, H-3 Lebaran. This marked a 98.3% increase from normal levels and 4.6% from the previous year. A total of 1.48 million vehicles left Jabodetabek from H-10 to H-3.
PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded the highest mudik Lebaran 2026 traffic volume in history on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, or H-3 Lebaran. The peak saw 270,315 vehicles pass through four main toll gates: GT Cikupa (westbound), GT Ciawi (southbound), GT Cikampek, and GT Kalihurip Utama (eastbound). This figure rose 98.3% from normal traffic and 4.6% from the 2025 Lebaran peak of 258,383 vehicles, according to CEO Rivan A. Purwantono. Another source notes a 4.62% increase from the prior year. Traffic to Trans Jawa toll road hit 175,754 vehicles, up 6% from last year's peak. Cumulatively, from March 11-18, 2026 (H-10 to H-3), 1,483,703 vehicles exited Jabodetabek, a 30.1% rise from normal 1,140,021. Distribution: 788,710 vehicles (53.1%) to Trans Jawa and Bandung, 402,945 (27.2%) to Merak, and 292,048 (19.7%) to Puncak. Despite the record, traffic was managed well via engineering like contraflow on Jalan Layang MBZ and Jakarta-Cikampek lower road, plus national one-way from KM 70-414. Congestion cleared within 1x12 hours, normalizing by Thursday at 11:00 WIB. “Not only those exiting through the four main toll gates.
