Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden has expressed strong approval of new head coach Mike McCarthy's emphasis on fundamentals during recent OTA sessions.
Haden made the comments on the Deebo & Joe podcast after listening to McCarthy speak at OTAs this week. He said McCarthy focuses on real football details rather than slogans. “Every time I hear Mike McCarthy talk, he’s talking ball. He’s talking fundamentals. He’s talking facts. He’s talking real ball stuff. I love every time I hear him talk.”
