Indonesia's seventh president Joko Widodo has arrived in Jakarta and plans to attend the peak of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration held by the National Police in Cikeas, Bogor, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Jokowi traveled from Solo to Jakarta on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. His aide, AKBP Syarif Muhammad Fitriansyah, confirmed the arrival.
"He has arrived in Jakarta," Syarif said. He also confirmed Jokowi's planned attendance at the event, saying, "God willing, yes."
The ceremony will be held at Satlat Brimob Polri in Cikeas. National Police Public Relations Division Head Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir explained the location was chosen because it represents the process of forming the character of police members.
