K-pop girl group Le Sserafim will prerelease its lead single "Celebration" on Friday ahead of its second studio album "Pureflow pt. 1," due May 22. Source Music described the track, blending melodic techno with hardstyle, as celebrating the moment one acknowledges fear and finds inner strength.
Building on last week's album announcement, Le Sserafim's agency Source Music revealed more about the prerelease single "Celebration," dropping Friday ahead of "Pureflow pt. 1" on May 22.
The track mixes melodic techno with hardstyle—a high-energy electronic dance music style from the late 1990s—with an upbeat, addictive rhythm and melody.
"We imagined people enjoying the song together at parties or concerts from the moment we first heard it, and we wanted to share it as soon as possible," the group said. "We believe it aligns even more closely with the theme of 'celebration,' as it carries our story with vibrant energy."
The album continues the quintet's evolution from their 2022 debut message of fearlessness to embracing fear as a source of strength. See prior coverage for full album details.
