Björn Liljander has resumed full-time duties at HV71 following a period of sick leave. He will now serve as general manager for the club's women's, junior and youth operations.
The change comes after Liljander started the previous season as general manager with responsibility for all sporting activities at the club. Johan Hult has taken over as sportchef for the men's team, with Fredrik Stillman as his assistant.
Liljander told Jönköpings-Posten that the new structure provides clearer divisions of responsibility. He described his updated position as inspiring and said it allows for more cohesive work across youth, junior and senior levels on both the women's and men's sides.
He noted that the previous role carried a large responsibility and high pace typical of elite sports. Liljander added that he feels well and is focused on long-term strategy, player development and creating a clear pathway through the organisation.
